Cenozoic Clastic Deposits in the Thermaikos Basin in Northern Greece and Their Reservoir Potential

The Epanomi gas field discovery during the 1980s at eastern fringe of Thermaikos Basin in Northern Greece proved existence an active petroleum system area. Seismic and drilling exploration programs area provide data to study Cenozoic clastic sequence Basin. This aims recognize, through core well-log data, wide range facies associations from different depositional environments, which contribute basin fill. Additional wells Kassandra onshore areas support conclusions this study.
